Ten Hag Optimistic After Poor Start for MU in Premier League

Coach Erik Ten Hag remains positive about Manchester United’s performance and believes the team will soon improve their results.

In the fifth round of the Premier League 2024/25, Manchester United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace. The Red Devils had their chances to score but failed to convert any, resulting in a shared point.

Winning only 2 out of their first 5 matches in the Premier League is disappointing for Ten Hag’s squad. The MU attack has also been ineffective, scoring just 5 goals, only more than three teams: Crystal Palace, Ipswich, and Southampton.

However, Ten Hag still sees positives in MU’s recent performances. He is confident that things will improve.

On the official MU website, Ten Hag stated:

“The team’s performance so far this season has generally been good. But the points we have are not what we expected. We are disappointed with our current points total.

That said, the season is still long ahead. If we continue to play with the quality we’ve shown, we can definitely look forward to better results, and the goals will come.”
