In a statement on Inter Milan’s official website, Simone Inzaghi expressed his disappointment following the loss to AC Milan.
In the Derby della Madonnina held early Monday morning (Vietnam time), although they were theoretically playing at home, Inter Milan suffered a 1-2 defeat against AC Milan. This result left coach Simone Inzaghi extremely frustrated.
He said on the club’s website, “It’s a painful defeat, especially in a derby. We will work even harder and try to take something positive from this loss. Starting tomorrow, we will shift our focus to Udinese and the challenges ahead.”
“The impression we left today is that we did not show the usual solidarity. We all need to understand where and how we can improve.”
“It’s unfortunate because over the last two days, I saw the team in good form, focused, and training hard. Sadly, our approach to the game was not good, and that’s something we need to improve significantly.”
