Jadon Sancho Returns to Training, Boosting Chelsea Ahead of Leicester Clash
According to sources, Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho has returned to training after missing the 1-1 draw against Arsenal due to illness.
Sancho joined Chelsea on loan with an obligation to buy from Manchester United this summer after falling out with former Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag. He had a promising start, providing an assist in each of Chelsea’s wins against Bournemouth, West Ham, and Brighton.
However, since being substituted at halftime during the match against Liverpool on October 20, Sancho has not featured for Chelsea. Manager Enzo Maresca previously explained that the player was unwell and not fit to play in recent games.
Now, Sancho’s return to training comes as a welcome boost for Chelsea as they prepare to face Leicester on November 23. The match is set to kick off at 7:30 PM, and Maresca hopes to have more options amid ongoing injury issues, including Cole Palmer, Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, and Omari Kellyman.
