Barca and Real both sent scouts to England to observe players

Last weekend, the two giants, Barca and Real, sent scouts to England to watch the match between Nottingham Forest and Newcastle. Their goal was to assess the performance of the players they are targeting.

According to Spanish media, defender Murillo (Nottingham Forest), midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, and forward Alexander Isak (both from Newcastle) are on the radar of both Barca and Real. All three impressed during the game.

Despite Nottingham Forest losing 1-3 to Newcastle at home, Murillo stood out by scoring the opening goal in the 22nd minute. Isak, on the other hand, equalized for Newcastle before Joelinton and Barnes scored two more goals, securing the win for the visitors. Not only did Isak score, but he also assisted Joelinton in putting Newcastle ahead 2-1.

Knowing they have a gem on their hands, Newcastle’s management has set Isak’s price tag at £100 million. However, Newcastle’s head coach, Eddie Howe, recently admitted that they are facing difficulties in convincing the Swedish striker to extend his contract.

Meanwhile, Murillo, who joined Nottingham Forest last summer, has proven himself to be one of the most reliable defenders in the Premier League. As for Bruno Guimaraes, he has long been pursued by Barca, but the Catalan giants have yet to bring the 26-year-old, who has 30 caps for Brazil, to Spain.
