Ancelotti Makes Decision About Future at Real Madrid

According to AS, coach Carlo Ancelotti is likely to continue leading Real Madrid after his contract expires in 2026.

The recent 3-2 victory over Alaves marked a significant milestone in Ancelotti’s managerial career, as it was his 300th match in charge of Real Madrid.

AS reports that Ancelotti is not looking to step down and is planning to maintain a long-term relationship with Los Blancos. The two parties are expected to enter negotiations soon to discuss a new contract, with both sides expressing goodwill toward continuing their collaboration.

The 1959-born coach has managed Real Madrid in two separate stints: from 2013 to 2015 and from 2021 to the present. He has led the team to numerous prestigious titles, including three Champions League trophies.

In addition to his strong tactical acumen, Ancelotti is highly regarded for his ability to manage the dressing room. The 65-year-old enjoys a positive relationship with team members, from players to the club’s leadership.

Earlier, there were indications that Ancelotti might part ways with Real Madrid after the 2023/24 season, having reached a preliminary agreement to coach the Brazilian national team, as confirmed by representatives from the Brazilian Football Confederation. However, the Italian coach later changed his mind and decided to continue with Real Madrid.
