Coach Erik ten Hag shared his thoughts on Bruno Fernandes’ situation.
Bruno Fernandes has been in very poor form this season, failing to score any goals across all competitions.
In the 1-1 draw against FC Twente, Bruno continued to deliver a subpar performance. He made three attempts at goal, but only one was on target.
Additionally, Bruno’s passing accuracy was only 75% (a low figure for a midfielder), and he succeeded in just 40% of his dribbles, while losing 6 out of 13 duels and giving away possession 19 times (all statistics according to SofaScore).
Seeing Bruno’s decline, Coach Ten Hag stated: “He will find his form again.
He has been creating opportunities. Bruno always makes those key passes, and he will score.
I believe Bruno will not do otherwise. One hundred percent, and it’s just a matter of time.”
After 8 matches in all competitions this season, Bruno has not scored but has contributed 4 assists.
