FootballTransfers reports that Dusan Vlahovic is on Manchester United’s radar, and Ruud van Nistelrooy has urged the club to sign the forward.
Currently, striker Rasmus Hojlund remains sidelined due to injury. New signing Joshua Zirkzee has found the net, but he is not a traditional center-forward. Man Utd still needs a striker to share the workload with Hojlund.
This is why assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy appears to have suggested an ideal striker for Man Utd to target in January, according to Football Transfers.
The report states: “Ruud van Nistelrooy is eager for Man Utd to sign Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic in January. Following Van Nistelrooy’s recommendation, Man Utd plans to monitor Vlahovic over the coming months and assess his interest in a potential transfer to Old Trafford mid-season.”
“He (Van Nistelrooy) remains a leading candidate to take over if Man Utd decides to part ways with Ten Hag at any point in the coming years. Therefore, Man Utd is seriously considering Van Nistelrooy’s advice and will make a strong move for Vlahovic in the January transfer window.”
